The St. Michael Seminary is the first large building realized by our studio in Europe. It offers 50 students space to live and develop - boarding rooms, common rooms, kitchens, administrative offices, fitness facilities and more. The load-bearing timber construction was designed by Studio Anna Heringer and realized in a consortium with Köhler Architekten, Munich.
Many elements that are typical of our architecture were integrated into this building: from retreat niches and earth colors to participatory clay reliefs. Another favorite place is the oratory with a rain of light made of textile and embroidered wall panels in collaboration with the boarding school residents and Dipdii Textiles.
